Chapter 7 - Day 5 on Oahu.
The Transformer
For
a few more dollars, Hertz gave us a Cadillac XLR. Hertz mechanic
had to show us how to start it, there is no key, and everything is
fully automated. It's not your father's Cadillac, it's fast it
has a V8. It is a sporty hard top convertible. The roof
folds into the trunk. It got more stares and people staying what
is that. This is a transformer for ground-ups.
Flamingos
The Hilton Hawaiian village had Pink Flamingos on the way to our tower.
Sunset
Our
room at the Hilton Hawaiian Village was upgraded to a mini-suite.
We had a balcony which faced south and one which faced west.
From the west balcony we could watch the sunset from the comfort
of our own room.
