Lake Chuzenji
Lake Chuzenji is at the top of Volcanoes almost 2000 meters above sea level. The deepest
part of the lake is 162 meters deep. Apparently it is too cold to swim in the water year around. Today it was definitely
too cold with ice still on the ground in March.
Kegon Water Fall
Kegon Water Fall is one of the largest waterfalls in Japan. The water falls down 100 meters from top to bottom.
Japanese Monkeys
Monkeys are very popular in Japan. Apparently the Japanese think they descended from
Monkeys and in the animal kingdom, monkeys are as close to humans as any animal. This this day the monkey in the second
picture was a little upset and decided to attack the tour group including me. She lunged at people with her mouth open.
Never really got that close, but still she was still scary.
